Besides these major mobile brands, many low-cost smartphones made by Chinese and Indian mobile manufactures run on Android OS. This has given the consumers a large variety of smart phone to choose from, depending on their requirement and budget. This factor has make Android OS win against the iOS that run only on iPhone and iPad.
The battle between iOS and Android OS is not effecting the consumers, directly, but some market analysts suggests that that filing lawsuits against one company by another to gain the market, might give benefit to Microsoft’s Windows OS.
